Grateful for Connections Across Provinces and Honest Conversations
For those who don't know, Sprout Up Bohol is the local entity for Sprout Up Philippines. The local entity is responsible for organizing skill building and networking opportunities for the residents of Bohol. The national entity, on the other hand, works with other grassroots community leaders across the country to facilitate best practices and skills sharing to better serve our respective communities.
One avenue for facilitating this inter-province conversation is by hosting the annual Community Leaders Retreat. This year, despite the energy crisis, we were able to host 18 community leaders hailing from 9 provinces across the Philippines in Pampanga.
Topics at the retreat included community sustainability and operations, leadership development, and addressing burn out. We're grateful for the commitment, honesty, and conscious vulnerability the leaders brought to the retreat and we hope to see you all again in Cebu this 2027!

Even though session are regular, anyone can jump in any time to contribute to the conversation. Sat, Jun 20, 2PM: This is an in-person event which aims to explore the product management practice and how it has evolved in the AI era. The event is a loosely structured discussion about the field's current and potential future practices as trends have evolved alongside AI's development. This is a FREE and open to all event but seats are limited, so please come early.
(Exclusive For Now!) Coffee Networking Session
Sat, June 27. 2PM: We hope this is something people can get excited about. For now, we are making this event invite-only but we hope to open this format to the general public if reception is good. This is a facilitated conversation amongst individuals who are builders or creators in the digital space. We hope that this event style allows for people to share what they're working on, and ask for help or connections within the locality.
